The Perfect Affordable Perfume for Spring and Summer
I have officially reached a new level of femininity due to my latest obsession. Fragrances! I’m not new to wearing perfume as I do have two that have been in constant rotation for the past four years. It’s just recently I’ve decided to step out of my fragrance comfort zone and explore new scents.
I’ve been a huge fan of Chanel perfumes since college. No. 5, Mademoiselle and Noir are my must haves but I wanted to explore more powdery and girly scents. So a quick look at a few YouTube videos and I saw that quite a few people were either ranting and raving about Baccarat Rouge 540 or its dupes. Keep in mind I’ve never sampled Baccarat Rouge 540. I was simply buying into the hype of the fragrance. Yep, I was #influenced.
Speaking of dupes, y’all know I’m the queen of dupes from previous posts such as this one, this one and oh yeah this one too.
Any who, the Ariana Grande Cloud perfume was the most intriguing dupe for the Baccarat Rouge 540 because it is the most accessible. It’s available at a number of big retailers at such an affordable price!
So a trip to CVS after work along with a few CVS Reward Bucks and it was mine! I was too impatient to try it once I got home so I sprayed it in my car.
Love. At. First. Sniff.
It’s very sweet but sophisticated. It has just the right amount of “pretty” to it. The pear jumps out at first but the dry down exudes a beautiful blend of coconut and praline.
